6110 S Zuni Drive Staging
This home stage was one of our favorite transformations! Using decor and furniture, we modernized this outdated but beautiful Spokane home.
Staging this space was extremely difficult because of the blue carpet and dated finishes. However, we believed it was an absolutely beautiful home, so we staged it so that potential buyers could see past the cosmetic imperfections to see what a gem it is. Our stage included the main living areas (dining, kitchen, living room), 4 bathrooms, and 2 bedrooms. The home lent itself to more traditional style because of its age and style. We brought in traditional styled furniture and decor items in a very neutral palette that would compliment the home by breaking up the blue carpet.
When sourcing pieces for this home, we first had to consider color, but then focused on scale. The main living spaces were rather large and open with tall ceilings and big windows that brought in a lot of natural light. By choosing the correct sized furniture, we helped showcase these positive aspects of the home.
We also incorporated some of the owner's previous furniture items in the design. The listing agent, Heidi Bollum, is a repeat customer who we love working with.
