Our biggest home staging project to date, this Newman Lake cabin got a major transformation. From minor renovation projects, to deep cleans, to new furniture and decor, we were a part of it all for this stage.
This home, listed by real estate agent Eva Scherer, was our biggest project to date. We staged multiple common spaces, bedrooms, bathrooms, an office, and the kitchen in this Newman Lake cabin. Our work in this space started a few weeks before the actual stage. We helped Eva remove old carpet and deep clean the cabin, preparing it for future viewing. We gave suggestions to Eva for minor cosmetic repairs that would help make for a quicker sale.
In our staging, we incorporated some of the owner's previously owned furniture. Using their items and pieces we sourced, we managed to completely transform this 100 year old cabin into a dream vacation spot. Because of its age, it lacked a lot of bright light, so we added several lamps and other sources of soft ambient light. For awkward corner spaces, we added functional items that gave the cabin a "lived in."
Our goal with this stage was to highlight the history of the space. It is a beautifully build family cabin that had not been on the market for 100 years. We really chose to lean into its character and bring in several vintage pieces that would blend into its rustic style.
